Levenshtein

Introduction

The Levenshtein Python C extension module contains functions for fast
computation of:

Levenshtein (edit) distance, and edit operations
string similarity
approximate median strings, and generally string averaging
string sequence and set similarity

:warning: The package was renamed to Levenshtein and can be found here.
The python-Levenshtein package will continue to be updated alongside the new package

Requirements

Python 3.9 or later

Installation

pip install levenshtein
